PET 1 – Health and Beauty

Complete your two week course and you will gain nationally accredited qualifications dependant on the courses you have done as well as two half days of a health and beauty tutorial delivered by a qualified health and beautician!

Health and beauty tutorial

At the end of both weeks, providing you have completed your accredited training, you will participate in one half day intense health and beauty tutorial, delivered by a qualified beautician.

The health and beauty tutorials are introductions to the industry and do not lead to a formal qualification. They are intended to give you an insight into working in this sector.

COURSE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Week 1 – You will complete and achieve Work Skills at entry level 3 or level 1, this is to help you with finding and getting a job in the beauty industry. You will need to complete all of the units contained within the qualification, assignments and reviews.

  • Week 2 - You will complete and achieve your customer service award at level 1, this is to help you with finding and getting a job in the beauty industry. You will need to complete all of the units contained within the qualification, assignments and reviews.

COURSE ELIGIBILITY

  • Must be aged 19 as of the 31st August 2013 (latest D.O.B is 31/08/1994)

  • Be a UK resident for 3 years plus or

  • An EU national and EEA resident for 3 years plus or

  • Some categories of Asylum seekers and refugees (Please ask)

  • Not currently hold a qualification at the levels offered or currently be working towards the levels stated in points 2 and/or 3 of your programme.
